Dr Derick van Vuuren is a lecturer of Medical Physiology on Tygerberg Campus and, without a single shred of doubt, the best residence head around the block. He resides on the border between eNkanyini and Nkosi Johnson with his family - his wife, Janet, and two little sons, Eben and Darius.

He is probably the best chef on the eNkanyini grounds and, if you are lucky enough, you might just get invited for dinner to the van Vuuren household. Make sure you don't miss it!
